Room exceptionally clean,staff very warm and helpful.Breakfast server with a smile by Your friendly chefs and staff.
l would have rated excellent on facilities,but telephone was not working and had to go downstairs to order room service which was a nightmare. Food server was horrible,given wrong order drink,to top it all,it was delivered 1/30(one

The staff was very friendly and warm. We were treated very well. The location of the hotel was very central to most tourist attractions and there was a great vibe. The breakfast was very nice as well. The hotel was ideal for a family as the fridge, kettle with beverages and sink plus microwave was a bonus as it made it possible to save on costs by not having to eat out and enjoy meals in the hotel, appreciating the views in the dining area. The hotel gets a 10/10 from me and i really got value

The staff were excellent; friendly service, more than accommodating.
Room was perfect. Bathroom were lovely.
The meals were delicious, room service was quick, and when I was sick for a day in bed, the staff were more than happy to check up and see if I needed anything.
Very, very much appreciated and one of the nicest places to stay at a good rate.
Highly recommended.

Me, my hubby and 2 year old son had a fantastic stay @ the Coastlands on the ridge hotel. The hotel and rooms (big wow) are elegant and beautifully decorated (we had deluxe room) plus the view from the balcony looking out over durban is stunning. Excellent young staff at all points.They seem to want to help rather than just provide service. The arrival & departure was warm. Even the security person in the car park wanted to do something to please.The young people in the reception and dining room were excellent.

Is an oldish rambling property on a steep hill not too far from the
central beach area. Not the easiest place to find because the
authorities have changed the name of the street but worth finding.

The place itself is hidden from the street - you wouldn't know
it's there. Once inside its like a secret garden. The whole place
has a lovely light and airy feel. The terrace is a great place to relax
over coffee, drinks or breakfast with views through the palms and trees
of the ocean. The rooms are lovely with luxurious touches and a small
private outdoor space. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly,
carrying our luggage to and from the car and making sure we had
everything we needed.
