  We stayed in the Penthouse Suite for 3 nights. The stunning view from our windows and balcony were spectacular and encompassed Table Mountain behind and the bay in front. The suite was comfortable and clean, with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge which was very useful for wine/water. The rooms also had air conditioning for those very hot... vad folk säger » days/nights. The cooked breakfasts were very good (made to order), and the fruit salad was especially tasty! The honesty bar was a very good idea, a - The whole experience from the welcome at the gate followed by a cold beer and suggestions for eating and excursions to the checkout arrangements that included the opportunity to shower and change before heading off to the airport was great. All these little touches made for a very relaxing stay at the end of almost a month toruing South Africa. We stayed in the Pool Room with its own outside sitting area.   The setting overlooking Table Bay and the Waterfront, the sunsets and sunrises (if the weather be good!!). The welcome from the staff even though we were late arrivals. Breakfast watching the sun rise!! - The staff very friendly and helpfully, the room very clean, confortable and quiet. Evreything was excelent.

  Blackheath Lodge provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere akin to being at home! It is pleasantly designed around a small, but extremely well cared for and pretty pool area. The breakfast choice is good - English or continental tea/coffee/biscuits are always available. The owner has an excellent relationships with his smiling and helpful staf... vad folk säger » f and nothing was too much trouble, including arranging our outings. The lodge has a hire car available. The rooms are attractive and very clean. W - This was a delightful place to stay in a lovely tastefully furnished Victorian Lodge. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much to ask during our 4 day stay. The rooms were very comfortable with an excellent shower. Thank you to all the team that work there for making our stay so enjoyable!
