  Stayed at this hotel for two days with my husband and baby. We arrived very early for check-in, and our room was not ready. We anticipated this, and just wanted to drop our bags off in the meantime. However, the staff decided to upgrade our room without us even asking! Breakfast had many options, and the dining room was - We only stayed for one night, but I can asure you that everything we experienced from check-in upto departure was just perfect. Just a pity we did not get to play golf though, but our time was limited. We will definately return again!!!

  letsbookhotel.com secured deposit of r600 and due to lateness of checkin this was not visible to owners so they charged the full amnt again. letsbookhotel.com did phone and apologise, however, we await the r600 to be reimbursed - Marion Lodge is a good place to stay if you're in Joburg.   Friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome. Got very special treatment (Hedre Badenhorst) when accidently found out that it was my husbands birthday - did not expect it from a city hotel! Overall great location, close to Sandton City for shopping. Price good compared to other hotels in area. Also good security system - felt safe. But the best thing about this hotel is because of the team that is very helpful and proactive.   We only used this place to start our trip through South-Afrika. It has lots of nice stuff to do for it's guest. A nice big jacuzzi, pooltable, sauna, you name it. It has a nice small colony of birds in de garden that you can feed. We had the little cabin in the garden which had a very nice shower and a great feel to it. Great breakfast. Easy cheap shuttle to airport. Good price, facilities and location. Obliging staff.

  A friend and myself needed accommodation for one night before our train trip back to Cape Town. We have never been to Johannesburg and surroundings and were extremely delighted with our choice of accommodation. We arrived earlier than check-in time due and were immediately offered coffee and a plac - The staff were very friendly and very helpfull in every situation. The water meter had been stollen so we were without water for a good part of a day. The staff made sure we had water and hot water whenever we needed it. Wonderful breakfasts. Nice location in Johannesburg. Would stay again for sure.
