  Guesthouse is beautifully decorated. The staff were most attentive and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for more. Amazing breakfast.   Everything - this was an exceptional guest house in every respect. The room was up to 5* hotel standards and the facilities superb. An excellent location was an added bonus with great access to the cliff path. Owner was very helpful and staff friendly.   The apartments are very spacious indeed, my girlfriend and I had three bedrooms and three bathrooms between us!. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard indeed and were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always willing to assist answering any questions. The hotel is actually apartments in a shopping mall which makes it safe (on top of a permanent person at the reception). Staff is helpful and friendly helping you out with any query (restaurant reco and booking, day trips,etc). 5min walking from coast and restaurants.

  You can literally watch the whales from the (incredible) breakfast table! La fontaine is a beautiful little guest house, warm and welcoming staff and homelike design with a luxurious touch. We had the room number 6 and an indescribable view of the sea. The hospitality and flexibility of Gail was just great and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. And we were able to watch whales in De Kelders - afterall a successful trip from Cape Town to Hermanus.
