Wonderfully warm welcome from Sharon our host. Fabulous large bedroom and big bathroom. All so beautifully done. Close to the high street and the wonderful selection of restaurants that Franschhoek has to offer. Nothing too much of a problem....Sharon even took some laundry to try and get it dry cleaned for me. Fantastic value for such a lovely spot. Warm friendly welcome. Room and bathroom facilities were excellent. Quiet location yet excellent for access to the shops, restaurants,tours and museum. all within minutes walking distance. Breakfast was excellent. Attention to detail was amazing. Well worthy of its 4* status. would recomend it highly to all my friends.
alla recensioner » It was great to have a room with access straight from the road but the friendliness if staying with a family. The guest house is close to Franschoek village but also walking distance to a couple of vineyards so you don't even need a designated driver!. Beautifully run and we have stayed in over 12 places in SA - this was by far the best. High quality soaps/towels/sheets etc very high standard with everything. Sharon and Charles are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Sharon the owner was brilliant - nothing was too much trouble - it was a pity we only had a 1 night stay there and not longer, would definitely return and recommend to others. Guests were very nice and had a lot of excellent advices on restaurant and activities Breakfast was excellent The room and especially the bathroom are nice, confortable. Really friendly and amazing location. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the garden and mountains. We wished we could have stayed longer. Made to feel very welcome, the rooms and en suites are clean and the gardens rooms have their own patio overlooking the garden and pool. Great place - we instantly felt "at home". Staff was welcoming and very helpful with their recommendations. Can only recommend it!. Very nice owners, helpful. Excellent location to visit the wine district and downtown Franschhoek. A place to stay longer ..... Very friendly, pleasant surroundings, good breakfast and the Landlady even gave us a lift for lunch and back. Nice pool too. very comfortable and well appointed rooms.
