Located at the foot of the Maluti Mountains, Riverwalk Bed and Breakfast boasts a tranquil location with panoramic views. In summer guests can use the braai facilities for a traditional barbecue in the garden.
Each of the rooms is simply decorated in neutral colours, with wicker and wooden furniture. The private bathrooms contain both bath and shower. In the winter months, the rooms are warmed with floor heating.
A full English breakfast is prepared daily and served in an airy breakfast room with large balcony. The local restaurants of Clarens, as well as art galleries and craft shops, can also be found within walking distance.
Guests can enjoy trout fishing and a game of golf at the nearby Clarens Golf and Trout Estate, less than 2 km away from Riverwalk.
Free private parking is available and Golden Gate National Park is 20 km away. Lesotho Afri Ski is a 2-hour drive away.

Brilliant four-night stay! The room was spacious, with lovely furniture and excellent finishes. Beautiful view looking out into mountains and private from neighbours. Very spacious en-suite bathroom, with nice bath and shower. Nice walking trail starts 50m away and town square with restaurants etc. is only 300m away or so. Breakfasts were AMAZING! Nuts, freshly cut (yum) fruit, muesli, yoghurt etc. and a cooked meal (omelette, eggs&bacon, sausages etc.), cooked to perfection. Friendly and h. alla recensioner »
I had a comfortable, enjoyable experience here. Despite a slight glitch with my booking Hannetjie was gracious and accommodating. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and more than ample. The mountain view is very special and you are just out of the hustle and bustle of town to enjoy the quiet of the magnificent surrounds. Do take a drive from Clarens to Fouriesburg as the scenery is breathtaking and you can pick up some lovely jams at a fraction of the price you will pay in Clarens.
The scenery right outside the door is fantastic. The rooms are quite clean and the owners are very hospitable. Location was great. You can walk to town, which offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and brewery. The Golden Gate park is about a 30 minute drive from the B&B; and the Basotho Cultural Village about 20 minutes further.

Very welcoming and friendly owners, excellent and comfortable rooms. We travelled with our grown-up daughter and got a "double bedroom" room with extra small bathroom and sitting area. Breakfast was excellent too.
Several restaurants in the neighbourhood make it a very pleasant B&B guesthouse to stay at and explore the area.

Everything about Riverwalk is to be liked. From the accomodation to the personal attention. Walking distance from shops, breathtaking mountain view from room, master chef style breakfast and super friendly owners.
It was comfortable and well appointed. Close proximity to the town centre but away from the hustle and bustle. The owners could not do enough for us.
