  The views from my room, the proximity to the sea, friendly staff, everything I could need in a holiday flat, the honest lady who cleaned my room, I felt safe, proximity to my bank, Woolworths and lovely coffee shops, walking distance to my church, the wonderful promenade and coffee kiosk across the road, mountains at the back and sea in the front,... vad folk säger » interesting buildings in the area. - I loved the hospitality of the staff the were great.   As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering.   The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. A very pleasant place to stay, only a quick taxi ride (or reasonable walking distance if so desired) of the V&A waterfront. There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

  This place was absolutely wonderful! The staff are extremely friendly and always helpful. It is minutes away (walking) from downtown Cape Town and a 20 minute taxi ride from beautiful Table Mountain, which you have an amazing view of from the hotel itself.
