The complimentary wifi and mini bar, which was replenished daily, are a very nice touch and something that hardly any boutique hotel of this size offers.
Our room was lovely, spacious, clean and luxurious and with a great view of the ocean.
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and that just made it an even nicer place to stay.
Will definitely be returning.

The rooms are stunning and really tastefully decked out and it's well situated for central Cape Town and the VandA shopping centre. It's the nicest place we've ever stayed and we will definitely go back if we can!

This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. First class luxury at a reasonable price. All four of us agreed this was the best hotel we ever stayed at. Our two-bedroom suite with living area was more spacious than we needed but we loved the separate bedrooms and large kitchen. It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves.
