  The apartment was lovely and quite large. We didn't use the pool since we weren't there that long. (An overnight stay.) The rooms were large and beautiful. The shower was the best I had since leaving the States! Leon, the owner, let us in after arriving a full hour later than allowed. The staff there, servers, cook and office assistant, There - We arrived in Cape Town and had no where to stay and 51 on Forrest Drive where efficient and made our booking quickly and timeously and we were never disturbed when we were there and the food was delicious!

  Almost everything. Especially the fact that we could get dinner at the inn if necessary. That was unexpected in a B&B, and very convenient for us because we had no transportation.

  We were allocated a ground floor room which I was not too happy with, after mentioning it to Nobu at reception she went out of her way to arrange another room and get it ready for us. She was very polite and professional, an asset to the hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. - Beautiful antique furniture throughout.   Hedge House was great beyond our expectations. Jan and her family and staff (who are more like family) are all just wonderful- very helpful, friendly, welcoming. The breakfasts were full, cooked to order, and absolutely lovely and delicious- and different every day. I was there for almost a week for a conference and to visit Cape Town. Judy was incredibly friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking process. She arrange my pick up from the airport and set me up since my arrival in the morning of the first day.
