  The location was great, close enough to all the activity but not so close that you are woken up or disturbed. The room was clean and the majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel is very close to the V&A, Long Street (bars), easy to get to the vast array of beautiful beaches, close to Table Mountain, there are lots of lo... vad folk säger » vely little restaurants and shops. Cape Town itself was incredible! If you like live music, go to the Dubliner on Long Street, Mama Africa has amazing - Clean, comfortable, well kitted out rooms in a great area of Cape Town. Easy walk to the waterfront. Very accommodating given I was unwell during my stay. Free parking right outside. Excellent value for money.

  Honestly say this is one of the best if not the best hotel I haver stayed in. Staff amazing, cinema for the kids, lazy leopard bar for great cocktails food and views, best hotel breakfast I have ever had and rooms to die for. Just amazing - Staff very friendly and efficient. Very good wine tasting with food pairing in restaurant.

  As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering.   The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. A very pleasant place to stay, only a quick taxi ride (or reasonable walking distance if so desired) of the V&A waterfront.   The apartment was lovely and quite large. We didn't use the pool since we weren't there that long. (An overnight stay.) The rooms were large and beautiful. The shower was the best I had since leaving the States! Leon, the owner, let us in after arriving a full hour later than allowed. The staff there, servers, cook and office assistant, There - We arrived in Cape Town and had no where to stay and 51 on Forrest Drive where efficient and made our booking quickly and timeously and we were never disturbed when we were there and the food was delicious!

  Heather and Lynn are great hosts and their staff all really nice. Villa Rosa is a beautiful old house in superb location in Seapoint, incl your view of the ocean from your balcony or veranda. It just took us 5min to walk to the bus stop and Hop on off. There are some really nice restaurants on Main street, too. Breakfasts are delicio - I loved everything about our stay at VillaRosa, it is close to everything that you can think of when visiting Cape Town, the likes of Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront (Roben Ireland), Camps bay and etc... I'm definetly going to stay at Villa Rosa on my next trip to Capte Town. My kids loved staying at Villa Rosa, they are super crazy about their stay. Thank you very much to all Villa Rosa Staff.
