We got a big, pretty apartment, with a garden, which was very spacious (a lot bigger than we expected).
The receptionist\manager speaks English and was very friendly and helpful. She also suggested for us nice destinations to visit and some restaurants for dinner.

We had fully equipped apartment - kitchen, part for living room, bathroom - all nice quality and new. Great personnel, nice spa (10 euro/2 hours/person), parking for free (we had in the garage, but usually is outside - covered).
10-15 mins walk to the center of Stary Smokovec, nice Restaurant close, also a small shop.

the room is not a room, but a small studio, i.e. separate bedroom, a living room with kitchen facilities, and a big bathroom. there is a sleeping sofa in the living room. Hotel is located on the edge of a small village so you can enjoy serenity and still be close to main attractions. Mountain train can take you to any peaks. The rooms are clean, freshly remodeled and well equipped. There is little restaurant in other hotel that makes the best pork ribs and fresh trout. The owner was very helpful.
