  As soon as I arrived, the receptionist (who helped me) spoke very good english and showed me my room. This made me feel at home straight away, as my russian is beginner level and quite poor. Very friendly and smiling person, I won't forget her, a pleasure to deal with. The Rooms are in two separate apartments. There was also a man who spoke enough english to talk with, and a woman who spoke Russian (but this is not a problem, as s - rather clean room, good and clean bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, no-fry rule for the kitchen=no smell, friendly staff, willing to help and keep you in the room a little longer than 12^00 (if needed)

  Sergey was awesome!! I don't speak Russian so we had to use our phones to communicate, he does know some English which is helpful. I have stayed in several countries, hotels and hostels, I would have to say Sergey is the nicest staff member I have met.   i love my staying in moscow almost because of this hostel: it has a great location and it's easy to get to any place you need from it.
