  Pension run by friendly and welcoming family, clean rooms, tasty buffet style breakfast (sufficient selection for a standards of small family pension), good location (few minutes walk from the old centre of Sibiu), reasonable price, owner very nice and helpful (communicative, suggested trips, called a taxi for us, etc.).   We stayed for one night at "The Council", a beautiful and hospitable place. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. The location is excellent. Very good breakfast and the staff was very carefully. - exceptional!

  We liked Pension Daniel very much. It had great private parking on site and since we had car and luggage to unload this was perfect. Location was very good, just a pleasant 5 minute walk to central square. Owner/manager? was very efficient and helpful, and rooms were large and very clean and comfortable, as well as pleasing to the eye. Cannot ... vad folk säger » say enough good things about Daniel. We wanted to come back and stay again a few days later, but that did not work out. - We spent three nights in this hotel and we are very happy that we chose exactly this one. Very good location - 5-7 minutes to the central square and all center attractions. Very quiet place, clean rooms. Special thanks to receptionist Viki, she was very kind and helpful. Private parking is a big plus. It was very easy to find the hotel if you come from Sighisoara side. If we come next time to Sibiu we will definitely stay in this hotel.

  Wonderful hotel, highly recommended. Simple but bright and clean. Staff so helpful. really nice feel. Private off road parking. Decent restaurant. Short walk to the centre but cute buildings starting right behind the hotel. Ideal for visiting Sibiu. Good price. We had two double rooms for four of us but they also do a 1 bed apartment plus sofa bed... vad folk säger » which works out about the same price and like that you have a kitchen. - The first thing that we enjoyed was that from our room we could see the old towers of the city center and had a nice rooftop view of the old area of Sibiu. The second and most important thing is that it is very close to the city center, abouta 10 minute walk at an easy pace. Also one of Sibiu's best restaurants near by its called Max and has a great atmosphere including live piano.

  I have to give my regards to the male employee who called to see when we would arrive, and even waited for us past his shift so that we could get in the room without any issues. (Reception closes at 8pm) We had a double room on the first floor. The room was large, clean, warm, and felt like more of a homestay style room as opposed to a hotel. The most noteable pluses for us were - Nice Pension with garden. Beautiful room with a lot of space. You need to walk aprox 10 min to the city center. They accept pets, so our dog was very happy! :) Excelent, I really recommend it.

  The hotel is clean and comfortable. A car was arranged to pick me up from the airport, and take me back. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help.   Great location, 5 minutes walk from the historic centre, and yet with the convenience of a free car park right outside the hotel entrance. Hotel very easy to spot as you drive on main E road into Sibiu. Well appointed, quiet, comfortable room, views of mountains in distance, dark blinds so weren't bothered by light. Free wifi everywhere and free parking too. 10 minutes walk from the old city center but very quiet.
