Vía España Avenue is 800 metres away and Panama Cathedral, Las Garzas Palace and The Interoceanic Canal Museum are all 12 minutes’ drive away.
Los Faroles Hostel & Guesthouse offers free parking and is a 30-minute drive from Tocumean International Airport. The city’s famous Canal and Marcos A Gelabert Airport can be reached by car in 10 minutes.

The guys running this place were great. They answered all my questions when they could. Neighborhood people were friendly. I wish I could have spent more time.
The people there were really nice and also recommend good places for shopping and go out. It´s a good place to spend the night.
Clean room with large closet, a/c, decent bed, nothing else there
really. Quite cheap for a private room, good place to stay a first night
after a long flight. Offers airport pickup service for 25 dollar (from
the international airport, 30min drive). May be quite expensive for
Panama, but I'm guessing it would be hard to get the same deal if
you just try your luck at the airport.

Really friendly owner who liked to talk and make sure that you were
happy with everything. Bedroom was small but comfortable.
Staff were great, it was very clean and safe. I love staying in that
area of Panama City and Los Faroles was a good deal.
No staff at the hotel; the taxi driver who picked me up from the airport
handed me the keys and called the owner of the hostel so he could
welcome me. No place to hang clothes, towel etc in (shared) showers.
A/c can only be controlled for the entire hostel, not for each room
seperately. For a 'hostel', Los Faroles has no vibe (at all).
The only communal area is a streetside terrace with a few plastic chairs
and tables, but nobody sits there.
There was no reception,so despite arriving on time, I had to wait for
the owner to arrive and talk to neighbours to get him. I then had to
wait another 30-50 minutes for the room to be made up. There was also a
power cut for half the evening which affected my ability to use the
facilities.
Wish they would paint the rooms a different colour! The brown was a bit
off putting. The air conditioner could be very loud at night.
