  La Remise was a wonderful place to stay for our two days in Amsterdam. Breakfast was delicious and made to order each morning. The owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful in directing us to sights and restaurants within the city. The neighborhood was tucked away just enough from the bustle of the city, but was a very short walking distance to ... vad folk säger » all the action. We would highly recommend La Remise to any travelers wishing to vacation, yet feel like a local. Would most certainly stay at La Remis - La Remise is in a quiet street but close to all the activities. The well designed room/bathroom was 'roomy', warm and very comfortable and the served morning breakfast set us up for the day.Our charming host was very helpful: offering advice on places to visit or where to go to eat. I/we would recommend this place to couples. La Remise is quite special.

  Lovely little place in a great location, a short walk into city centre. I knew I would have to park motorcycle on street, but found a convenient place almost outside hotel. Being on holiday, I missed the e-mail sent from the hotel enquiring on our arrival time, short wait for the door to be opened. Our room and bathroom were lovely. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.

  We booked expecting a room in a guest house and were stunned to find a beautifully decorated and comfortabe room overlookingt the Amstel river. In addition we also had exclusive use of the whole floor leading tou own coffee ad tea making machine and shower and changing room. Really freindly welcome by Ken. Very centrally placed close to the flower... vad folk säger » market and shopping centre. - The owner, Ken, made us feel very welcome and kept the place clean and tidy every day. Our family room was very large with a double bed, a single bed and two very comfortable sofas;an additional bonus was that you could slide double doors across to separate into two individual bedrooms. The weather outside was cold but the heating was on 24 hours with adjustable radiators.
