  Det ligger bra till, nära till museerna och inte allt för långt till klubbar som paradisio och liknande. Det var inga problem att lämna väskorna på hotellet efter att man checkat ut. - Perfekt läge. Otroligt fin frukost på Wiener cafe! Nära en massa sevärdheter.

  The location was amazing. The room was perfect. It had great airconditioning, nice showers, it was clean, and it was quiet. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. What's more I got all this for a very affordable price.   Wonderful 18th century style house in an extraordinary location in one of the most beautiful cities ever. We loved the hotel's room which perfectly blended modern convenience with the charm of the city and of Flemish paintings. Once, neighbors played loud music at midnight, which added to the overall festive ambiance of Amsterdam, and in the morni... vad folk säger » ngs we had the song of birds. Wholeheartedly recommended. - The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Anything we needed they provided including helping us with our luggage and calling a cab for us. When we arrived, the host came out to the front door to greet us. When we left the entire staff came out to say goodbye to us. Beautiful and quiet place, and lovely people.

  Try to get room number 1, (smoking allowed & your own shower/toilet)... the view from the window is something else! There's no food provided but hotel Alfa is beside a decent café. It's also only 2 minutes away from the train station & you only have to walk around the corner for your nearest smoke. The man running the place was very pleasa... vad folk säger » nt & although there was no tv, the wifi in our room was strong enough. - Our room was really clean, nice size, the staff where lovely and location was AMAZING! We stayed in the twin room and is exactly as the picture shows! Ignore the comment about about the building being old and decaying. It is old like many houses in the dam but not decaying!

Our room was well equipped, and had access to a shared balcony. The rates are very reasonable by A'dam standards. - I loved the location, private bathroom and room size. It was walking distance to the museums, public transportation to the airport and other areas was around the corner from the hotel.   We stayed with my boyfriend in Studio Palamedes for 10 nights. Studio is 2 min walk from Leidseplein square and 30 min walk from Amsterdam Central. I wanted to say thank you to our hosts! Karin and Edwin! They did a great job in this studio! It is nice, clean, very worm, like you are at home! We had just everything what we needed! All kitchen appliance, all kind of stuff for cooking (flavorings, - Cosy, home-like atmosphere, well equipped not comparable to hotels , as in it has a lot of room and it is much warmer and friendlier. I would recommended it to anyone who will not compromise with boring hotels.
