We stayed for only one night but found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, of a decent size, and had modern but basic facilities; about what you would expect at a three-star hotel. There were tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer in the room also. The breakfast offered a good choice and it all seemed fresh enough,

The hotel was very close to the transit line and you could be in the
city very quickly, as well you could just as easily make a day trip to
places such as Rotterdam or Haarlem. The restaurant served first class
food and drinks. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and were more than
happy to help with anything. They had good quality bikes you could rent
for 24 hours if you were so inclined. There was a very diverse clientele
while we were there, from soccer teams, newly weds, business people,

The bar is nice and the prices are only a little above usual Amsterdam prices. Once again though Accor Hotels have let themselves down with the telvision services. BBC 1 was not

The historic associations of the Hotel and location. The room was a four star one and was excellent. We liked looking around the hotel and finding out more of its history. It is not right in the city central, but in a cute little neighbourhood with restaurants and supermarkets just around the corner, and the centre of Amsterdam just an easy tramride away.
