The staff was excellent. This is a small run operation but they were helpful and made us feel very welcome. Room is quite simple with a funny little shower off the kitchen (and the toilet behind that!) but it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location. Great for a couple looking for a quiet location to relax and be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Amsterdam. This was a great area to stay to check out the trendy Jordaan, nine streets, and night club district.

Hela vistelsen var utmärkt från början till slut. Det kändes som en lyxigare variant av bed and breakfast till ett rimligt pris. Standarden kan mäta sig med bättre hotellkedjor. Vi hade gårdsrummet som bara har utsikt mot en vägg med någon sorts murgröna. Det dyrare rummet mot gatan har en liten balkong med utsikt mot kanalen. Brant trappa upp till rummet - något som jag tror är typiskt för de gamla husen i Amsterdam.

The apartment is spacious, very clean and well equipped . Located in a lovely and quite neighbourhood of Amsterdam, in a walking distance from the three major museums and most of the city attractions.

Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. Luckily we were on first floor - good tip to ask for this flat. Able to leave bags in cycle shop next door which was also run by our host. Very good value for centre

There were so many thoughtful touches in our room. We had a choice of coffees in our room, cookies, water, and a light breakfast if we wanted to eat there. We didn't, because the breakfast downstairs was so varied and in a cozy breakfast room with interesting people to visit. It was like being a favorite guest in someone's home.

This was our first trip to Amsterdam and certainly won't be our last, due mainly to the excellent service and kindness of Chris and David at the Tulip of Amsterdam. (in fact, we made a second reservation on our last day! I think that says it all!) Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped as was the rest of this lovely old refurbished building. Good location in a quiet and beautiful canal in Jordaan (the “jardin” district in Amsterdam).
We stayed in the interior room (bigger than the front room). It has a high window that lets the natural light flood in (doesn’t look directly outside).

Loved our stay at B+B bloembed, stayed 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! Friendly, helpful hosts, great breakfast which you can eat at your leisure, excellent location on a beautiful canal. Situated in Jordaan which has plenty of good restaurants and brown cafes. The room was clean, warm and a good size for 2 people with luggage. Great value for money, will stay here on our return to Amsterdam!

Even if the room was small, it was well organised so efficient. I was scared I would feel the boat moving since it was windy but it never happened. The people were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was also very good.

Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop.
