As there were nine of us, the staff gave us a meeting room in which to change clothes, and the use of a bathroom to wash up, as we were headed to Amsterdam for the day. Hoofddorp is okay if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to Amsterdam, but there is nothing locally. This is a business hotel in a business park. It is not right in the city central, but in a cute little neighbourhood with restaurants and supermarkets just around the corner, and the centre of Amsterdam just an easy tramride away.
