  We read excellent feedback and chose this riad and we were not disappointed! We are a family of 4 including 2 grown-up children. We booked a family room for 4 and it was ENORMOUS! (Two single beds were separated by curtains.) The main bed was a wrought iron four-poster bed with nice laces around. There were no windows to the outside but we d... vad folk säger » id not miss much and I think that kept the room cool. The room was nicely air-conditioned and after HOT outings, it was an oasis! There was no TV in - It was one of our best trips ever thanks to this Riad and Its staff. The place and the rooms are beautiful.the welcome is very warm and The staff is extremely Nice and caring. The location is ideal, a few minutes away from jemaa El fna from Bahia palace and from tombeaux saadiens. I Would definitely recommend this Riad. Nothing feels Like waking up in one of Its rooms to the sound of little birds and having breakfast on top of Its breathtaking terrasse. Enjoy

  Liliane and Patrick were wonderful hosts, made sure we were safe, maps and advice, we had their telephone number in case we were got lost which we did on several occasions! Patrick would take us to restaurant's and offered to collect us if necessary. The Riad is beautifully designed with lots detail and attention. The place is very nicely decorated with a lot attention to detail. We stayed in two different rooms where each has its own unique style and atmosphere. Especially the room on the roof terrace was very cozy and comfortable. The hosts were very hospitable and helped us a lot when organizing smaller trips in Marrakech or outside the city.   Where do I start - the Riad itself was beautiful, a real oasis of calm in the hectic world of the Medina - just a couple of minutes walk away from the throng of the souks and Djema el F'ner. Well located in the old Medina although the entrance route via the old dark souk streets might be a little intimidating for some, although the streets were busy and appeared safe.

  We were treated so well from the minute we arrived. We were greeted by Noureddine and his wonderful family and once settled were served the most delicious mint tea. They were all so helpful! As this was our first time in Marrakech we were unsure of where to go. The family-like reception and the warm greetings overwhelms you. Abu Edriss, his wife Nadia, and Boshra, their daughter spared no efforts to make my wife, my daughter and I feel really at home. In addition, the food they provide specially the breakfast was just so good while enjoying the beautiful surrounding. If not for a tight schedule that we had, we would of stay for another night or nights there. Thanks for family and their staff. No words

  I am happy to join the ever growing band of glowing reviews for Riad Alwachma, given that my decision to stay there recently was based on its excellent reviews. This is definitely a place where you get value for money.
