  The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood. That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. Our room had a large terrace overlooking a small but lovely garden with a tile inlay pool. Overall, We enjoyed this hotel more than almost any other we have come across in all our t - We loved our stay here. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the host with the present of a free upgrade to the best room in the house. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, and the house is absolutely beautiful and perhaps in the best location of Tangier. We love it.

  I searched for a while for a suitable hotel, normally my husband and I book into a 5 star resort or luxury self catering when we have the children (2,6) with us. This trip was adults only and I wanted accommodation that really represented the best of Morocco. Dar Sultan definitely delivered! We spent a lot of time chilling out in our roof top room with undeniably the best view of th - The rooms were uniquely furnished with colorful textiles, rugs and antiques. Treats were left for guests each day and rose petals scattered about on the bedclothes. The rooftop lounge area gave good views. Location quiet and convienient. Included breakfast was to die for. Real care was taken for our every comfort. Very clean and charming house cat.

  The hotel had soundproofed rooms, which are necessary in Tangier. Stayed in another hotel in the same area and there was a lot of noise, incredibly tiring. The beds in IBIS is good and the wifi worked well. What impressed me most was the breakfast. Simple with good quality. Very good job by the staff during breakfast. I think unfortunately this is n - The regular Ibis quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good price, enough room size, great location and a large parking area. Very comfortable bed and clean room. İf you are planning whole trip on the way like us, the wifi in Ibis's are going to be your best friend :)

  This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend. Traditional Moroccan decor, gorgeous little fountain in the living room. We stayed in the summer time and found it to be not too hot at all -- can't attest to winter.   We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the mountains and the room had a good heater. Very easy to find and well- mar... vad folk säger » ked – though I’d recommend coming from Bab Souk as the riad is a bit closer to this than other medina entrances. Possibly the nicest roof of any riad - The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar. The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon .   My friend and I had a great stay in this hotel. We had a lovely room and were so impressed with the staff. Mohammad was fantastic. He even gave us a walking tour around the city and took us out at night to Marina beach and a night club. The food is really good. Home cooked Moroccan cuisine. We wish we could have stayed longer! - First of all Abdul's hospitality, the best kind. The location the most suitable, at the core of a genuine non-tourist medina. Abdul was also introducing us to the curious story of the beautiful Riad, a recovered, very well taste recovered residence of a Dutch Consul. Beautiful environment and very confortable rooms. I would advise the Riad's cuisine with quite enthusiasm!

Walking through the medina/souk was incredible and so much more authentic than other cites. - Perfect location for Medina and other sights Gracious hosts and staff.
