  Auberge La Source is placed just in front of the big erg.Hassan´s family is very nice and the service is perfect. Breakfast and dinner were included and they were always big and very delicious. We stayed there only one night but we have many unforgetable memories - sunset in dessert with cammels and our perfect guide Mohamed (thanks a lot, Moha... vad folk säger » med, it was really a beautiful experience). We can highly recommend this Auberge to other visitors. You will be very happy there. Ivana and Vladimir - La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

  On a hill overlooking the town and has a nice view from the room balcony. The inside is very nice, and the room feels very cosy with the wooden walls. Don't miss the motorbike ride it is great. - The design, decoration and facilituies is just awsome. Spa is one of the best. Location and weather is very interesting. The people are very warm.

  This place has a really good location for those travelling by car. Located at Meknes Medina, just 7 minutes walk from the main square and 3 minutes from medina markets, it has a private car parking just in 100 meters nearby, thus you can come by car and leave it in a safe place. Riad is being run by an Englishman (to whom it might be important), a - The hotel was lovely but very hard to find, we wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for some friendly locals. Food was delicous, the best food we ate while traveling through Morocco. The staff are very friendly and helpful they go out of their way to accommodate you. The locals in the market are all very friendly. The market was amazing the best we had seen in Morocco, a definate must do.

  Though we found the facilities quite basic, this riad delivered what we came for. Ali, the owner, was very available, friendly and responsive to our needs. We wanted to experience desert culture and because of him we did. He took us to a village wedding which happened to be taking place the nite we arrived; he took us on a 4wd trip into the desert... vad folk säger » to visit a family, hear some traditional musicians, and see aspects of the desert we wouldnt have seen without him. The fact that the riad is located - We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet friendly people.

  Good location right next to the grand taxis. We were met at the taxi stand by the owner's brother and directed to the hotel, despite the fact that we hadn't thought to advise our expected arrival time. Clean and simple rooms with heating, cooling and piles of blankets to take away the chill.   We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! The food is the best I've had in Morocco (and I have been here for 2 months so far). The rooms are very spacious and spotless!   Staff were extremely friendly. I did not speak the languaje and still, that was never an obstacle for them to provide me with everything i needed or i requested for. Food was very good as well.

  The hotel could not be situated in a better place-its exactly in the middle of the dunes. You can enjoy of the pure nature and calmness. The staff of the hotel is very helpful and they will organise not only your stay in there but also can help you with all your trip in the Morocco.   The owner was a wonderfull person and helpfull to any question. Nothing impossible. - Location Staff very friendly, help us to organize our city tour, very lovely moroccan-style design of the riad made by the owner. Only 10 min by foot to the main square of old town and other attractions. There are possibility to get tasty dinner for reasonable price. - Location. It's inside the Medina which makes it an easy and interesting walk to 'all things'. Nice people running the place. Fun to stay in a very old riad. The number two guy had to be the happiest individual I've ever encountered in my life. Meknes was a nice change from Marrakesh. Many fewer tourists and many, many fewer locals trying to separate you from your money.
