We loved our stay in Riad Houdou because of the beauty of the place, and
the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors,
and all the lovely staff. I went with my two elderly aunts and we had a

From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.

Riad Itrane was perfect in every way. Even before we arrived we had been
made to feel welcome by the owners, Charlotte contacting us the week

A beautiful, romantic place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from Jan Fna and the wonderful souks of Marrakech. The rose pettles scattered on the bed, a relaxing hamam and pretty mosaic pool really made this place number one! Also the staff are so warm and friendly and the evening meal was delicious! We read very positive hotel reviews with some caution as to their
truthfulness, but all the very positive comments about The Red House
were true. Location just outside the wall provides easy access to the
Medina and old city as well as to the new city for shopping and
restaurants. An excellent place for staying in Marrakech. All amenities,
including the lovely pool, are great and the staff, starting with Abdel
the front office manager, are warm and very helpful. We hope to go back.
