  The location is great and very close to new city and a 20 minute walk to Medina & Jamal Fna Sq. We paid 250 Dirhams from the airport (rak) to hotel which was total rip off as we paid 50 Dirhams when we returned. Beware of taxi's as the hotel is only 10 minutes ride. There was a mini fridge in the room, we bought drinks which was grea - Its a traditionell arabic hotel with the traditionell arabic friendlyness and service. There is no alcohol and no smoking in the hotel and its all about serving the guest and making him feel like at home. We loved this hotel and especcially his employees. Tho hotel is near to many sight seeings and nice places and the pool is big enough to do a good swimm, great hotel for a good price, we loved it.

  Stayed there only one night before heading to seaside and was very impressed and pleased with this hotel. Hotel itself was very clean, all the traditional interior features created cozy environment. Staff there were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Location is also very convenient as it is next to the bus and train station. Would definitely stay there ag - Loved everything about this hotel, one of the best beds I've slept in in Morocco - really lovely staff who could not do enough. Superbly located close to the main station in an upmarket district with good cafes and patisseries and some designer boutiques. Gorgeous roof terrace!

  Very pleasant hotel, with impressive atrium seating area, decent pool and clay tennis courts. Essentially it's a sort of French version of a Thompsons hotel. Good breakfast, large room and ideally placed for exploring Marrakech (see guide below). Would certainly recommend Les Idrissides. There are a selection of varying hotel standards to fit your choice but, more importantly, it is centrally connect - The family rooms are fantastic. You could lose yourself in the suite. The rooms were really spaceous, great faccilities, hotel really gets everyone involved with alot of events taking place, pools were great, easy to exchange money. The maids cleaning the room used the towels to create patterns etc on the beds which the kids really loved. They also always left sweets and rose petals on the beds every nice was was great.   Located in Guilez a 10 minute bus ride for 40pence up to the old town, take the number 1 bus to Jma el Fna. Hotel friendly and as decribed. Pool area full but no nonsense over sun beds, the pool attendant made sure everyone got a place in the sun. Close to all local amenities, check out the railway station, really great building.   This was the 2nd time that we have stayed at The Red House and it was just as good as the first time. Someone from The Red House came to pick us up from the airport and was already waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. This was a great way to start the holiday. The staff are magnificent - very friendly and only too happy to he - We read very positive hotel reviews with some caution as to their truthfulness, but all the very positive comments about The Red House were true. Location just outside the wall provides easy access to the Medina and old city as well as to the new city for shopping and restaurants. An excellent place for staying in Marrakech. All amenities, including the lovely pool, are great and the staff, starting with Abdel the front office manager, are warm and very helpful. We hope to go back. Stongly reco
