  we were very impressed with the ryaid and its staff. It's well presented with lovely intricate detail and immaculate inside. The breakfast is amazing, we felt very spoilt. Really beautiful architecture right in the Medina, which means you can do most of the sightseeing by foot. We had dinner there for 25eur pp, which I think is expensive but the food was truly amazing. Breakfast was excellent as well. I wish I could stay more time! We hired a guide through them for 25eur, which was ok. They charge 10eur for a transfer to the train station in a grand-taxi, but we took a small-taxi there for 2eur.

  On arriving at the airport we were greeted by a friendly taxi driver who agreed a price of 150 Dhirams to take us to Fez He called the hotel for us. We were met at "the blue gate" by Youness, a worker from the hotel who helped us with our bags. After that the hotel was always easy to find again. The room was spacious and comfortable.   Welcome, Welcome, that's the word that you hear the most in this Riad, but it's not just a word because Kacem and his team really do make you feel at home and part of their family. Nothing was too much trouble for Kacem, from booking the airport taxi to providing us with guide maps and giving endless advice, what a nice man!!. They offered us good useful information on how to discover Fes.
