The rooms are decorated with Tadelakt walls and they all have a view of the furnished patio. A continental breakfast is provided and it can be taken on the terrace. You can sample a brunch breakfast, at a surcharge. Moroccan dishes can be ordered for other meals, and served in the dining room featuring a fireplace. This Riad is situated a 5-minute walk from Place Moulay Hassan where the Gnaoua World Music Festival is held. Mogador Essaouira Airport is 15 km away and airport transfers are available at a supplement, as well as bike rental.

We really enjoyed our stay in Riad Thais, from the moment we stepped inside the riad to the day we left. The hospitality was first class and FatimaZahra (Manager) provided us with all useful hints and tips to get around Essaouira. Fatima (housekeeper) made us a different breakfast every morning and it was really delicious and filling coupled with the breakfast being served on the roof terrace under the morning sun. alla recensioner » Owner is fantastic. Provided lots of information. The Riad was very clean, well designed and all around one of our favorite on our two week trip in Morocco. My friend and I also tried the Hamman and that was one of the best, as, I have tried a few. It was nice to be able to head to the room right after. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace or below was also one of our best. Not just the usual, but nice touches like homemade yogurt, fruit etc. I would highly recommend this riad and would easily . A beautifully designed riad in an excellent location on one of the main pedestrian streets. We thought it was amazing value for money compared to some of the other riads we have stayed in in Morocco, and the toiletries smelt divine. There is even an on-site hamman (although you need to book this in advance to give it time to heat up). The staff are excellent, there was only a French speaker present when we arrived but she did everything to make us feel welcome (as we only speak English), and Mo. Even though we didn't speak the same language, we managed to have a hearty conversation with Anni and Pascal :) Monika was very helpful and took a good care of us. The location is quite nice. Right in the laid-back medina and close to the promenade. Nice rooms, and the common area on the floor is very comfy, too. Thais the owner was super friendly and helpful, she took care of us every step of the way. She even came out the to the bus station to meet us. The riad was clean and simple and had a great vibe. Great location right in the middle of the medina. Since it was the off season, the rates were great as well!. Super service, very warm, helpful people creating home atmosphere during the stay. One of the best WELCOME we have ever had. Also fantastic pancakes every morning was a good start of the day. Newly rebuilt, nice place, directly in Medina. English speaking owner provided useful information about the place. The only aspect that might bother some people is the street noise that comes with the excellent location. The noise didn't last late, but it might bother a light sleeper in the rooms that face onto the street. The bathrooms are strange... they're either not separate from the bedroom or only have a wardrobe-type door. Still, this is a rather common occurrence in Morocco. The shower. The water would spray outside of the shower getting the floors all wet and a little bit cold even with the heater on. No huge concerns really. nothing bad to say. I liked all aspects of Riad Thais and would recommend it highly. Nothing. The room we stayed in included the bathtub/shower and the toilet separated by a small partition, which may be off putting for some guests.
