Fitted with wooden flooring, the air-conditioned rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering sea, pool or garden views. They are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and a TV. Private bathrooms come with shower facilities. De Rhu Café serves both local Malaysian delights and Western favourites. Room service is available. Tour arrangement is possible and barbecue facilities are available on advance request. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with luggage storage, currency exchange and laundry services.

We came during a busy festive season, but the reception staff were really cool, even though the front desk was like a zoo. I always find that remarkable. Place is pretty descent for a quick coastal getaway. And very good value for your money. 1.the water park is excellent for little kids, giving us confident in children safety 2.the food is also excellent, so delicious and multi-taste! 3.the staffs are friendly and ready to help.

I love these slightly run down resorts in Malaysia. If you want 4 or 5 stars go stay in the Hyatt, if you want a cheaper place to stay on the Balok beach then this is a good choice - certainly better than it's neighbours! We lit fires on the beach, raced our SUV's on the beach, had a blast - you can't do that in the high end resorts. The pool was suitable for young children. The room was spacious. The garden view was soothing. The bedroom has improved from last stay, spacious enough for family with small children. Spacious room, good location for outdoor activities. I like the swimming pool, so many type of swimming pool and the food very nice. Very nice room, huge bad!. Breakfast was good, but the restaurant's capacity was a bit limited. Unless you are in no hurry and do not mind waiting in line. 1.no carpet on the floor! 2.time for check-in started at 3.00 pm..if we arrive early, we‘ve to wait at the lobby. Parking for car very limited when peak hour of vacation. nothing. Nothing. Very poor room service. When we arrived at 5:30pm our room is not ready. Breakfast so-so..not many choices. Limited parking space. Facilities inside the room may need to be replace like water hose. The parking lot very limited, since they opened their pool to public, just can't tell who's park at hotel car park wether the hotel guest or not. Pool is open to public... no elevator. Main pool is closed. There was poor communication between reception & housekeeping. The facilities - only poolside. Not as reflected in the brochures & website. Washroom equipment shld upgrade!!. Booking early at 1pm will give you un-maintain room (faulty aircon) and extreme end room at the corner of building. Have to shift room after complaint which is very close to the front desk which is well maintain. Tips: Do not check in early.... Room 151 aircond to service. Not so cool. No Wifi at room. Slow wifi at lobby. No Covered parking. Room 149 tea table surface part peel off. no carpet in room. channel tv not clear. no wifi in room. Short circuit at bathroom switch. When the switch is turned on, the circuit breaker tripped. the room so smelly like a cockcrooch smell and the furniture are too old. Big Swimming pool didn't work, only small one, which wasn't clean. Beach is near, but not for swimming. Dirty and dangerous. Bad location! In the restaurant all the time I was waiting one hour for my meal, even during the breakfast. Stuff isn't helpfull and don't realy speak english. It can be good for local people, and maybe tourist with car.
