The front desk staffs are rather helpful when help is really needed. There is a 24hr convenient store accessable through the main lobby area. Plenty of dining options along the nearby main roads and a long covered shopping stretch just next to the hotel. Walking distance to Odori Park and other major tourist destination like Sappror TV Tower, JR Observatory tower, Former Governor Building, Sapporo Clock Tower, Nijio Market, etc.
alla recensioner » Located near the shopping arcade - in fact just next door. There is a bus service direct from the airport that stops on the parallel street. We rolled our luggage to the hotel, stopping to ask the locals for direction. Very conveniently located, no problem finding food and shops. Walking distance. Discovered Pole Town, a whole underground shopping area at the arcade. Great food nearby. Convenient store attached to hotel. The location was just next to Susukino market which is very convenient for shopping at night time and surrounding by plenty of restaurants. We stayed in 3 beds room but the room was quite small. It seems to be 2 beds room size and add one extra bed, however, it's cheaper than capsule hotel for 3 people. All soap and shampoo was available. Staffs are friendly and English speaking. The internet was good in room. 1. It is very convenient to have Airport Limousine bus stop (from town to New Chitose Airport) which is just opposite the hotel. 2. There is Airport Limousine bus schedule available at hotel reception counter 3. Hotel is surrounded by shopping street. There are some shops close late at night. Lots of good ramen around this area. 4. There are Family Mart on 1st floor and 7-Eleven nearby. It was very conveniently located at Tenuki-koji. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Value for money. Across the street was the bus stop for the airport bus to New Chitose Airport so for budget travelers like me, it was so convenient. The bus time-table is very accurate so you can be sure to time your travel to the last minute. Location to nearby subway stations, Odori and Susukino. With the airport shuttle service right in front of the hotel, it was really easy, convenient & cheaper than taking the train to go to the airport. The drop off point from the airport is a 5-minute walk from Minami Sanjo Susukino. There was a convenience store connected to the lobby, and the main shopping and sightseeing areas were only a few minutes' walk away. - Get router for free of charge as request - near odori park, around 5 minute walk. - can walk to JR sapporo station around 20 minute use the underground path that link between Pole Town, metro stesen and JR stesen. Excellent value for money. Very convenient location. Provided us with a mini-router to get WiFi access in the room. They have an arrangement with oryx car rental that can make life a bit easier. Hotel Sunroute New Sappopo is in the very good location and all the stuffs are excellent. The hotel location is suitable for shopping, eating and easy for both subway and tram. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Sapporo. You can take the subway to any place of Sapporo. And just cross the road, you can ride shuttle bus to the new Chitose a/p. great location and walk distance to Otori 大通 and Susukino 薄野. these is airport shuttle bus stop opposite of the hotel , cost 1000yen single way directly to New Chitose airport. Hassle free and easy to get around the town being adjacent the covered walkway which connects to the Underground Shopping Malls/walkways. Excellent value for money. New Sunroute is located strategically in the heart of Sapporo with about 10mins cab ride from jr Sapporo stat, 7mins walk from Susukino stat that’s provides easy access to everywhere in town. Its was clean, comfy with moderate speed of in-room wifi. With Tanukikoji shopping arcade just next to the hotel, it’s provide everything you can ask for – shopping, dining, drugs store, souvenirs, game room. Also within walking distance to major attraction like Odori Park, Clock Tower, Pole Town & sho. It is situated along the Food Alley and a short walk to the Underground Shopping Belt. It is also a very short walk to the Odori Subway Station which is the Interchange of all the Subway lines in Sapporo. It is also covered all the way to the Sapporo JR station as well as the main Bus Station. Besides, there is a Family Mart just next to the lobby. Staff do not speak much English so can be quite frustrating when you cannot get them to understand what you really needed. Japanese standard - clean and comfortable anyway. The towel provided is small size that cannot cover the whole body. But it seems to be Japanese hotel way as we found most hotels just gave small size ones only. Early morning calls from crows that start from 5am when I was staying at the hotel in end May 2013. Just one thing that hotel should describe, "How to get there" more clearly as I was lost for the first time to arrived at the hotel. a bit of noisy at night. due to close to the main street and people from bar and night club around. No free parking and is a challenge to park into the car park for first timer. WIFI is not available in the room. very small room. size of the room. The room is not exactly soundproof. I could hear noises from opposite rooms as well as from the rooms next to ours. Air condition is just heater no cold air,sometimeit caused uncomfortable during bed time. Hotel is rather dated and has a stale smoky smell. No Wi-fi and pay extra JPY1200 per day for carpark. Nothing. Nothing!. They should employ more staff who could speak English. The lobby looks old though the rooms look perfectly modern. old decor and peeling wall paper, tiny and slightly smelly bathroom, semi-double bed very cozy fit for two, a bit far (2 train stops) from Sapporo Station. The hotel is located across the back of a building which they kept the garbage can. There are 10-15 crows flying around to pick some leftover from the can. Never thought of a picture like this in Japan, especially in the downtown area. Public Toilet is dirty. Location is a bit far from subway. Water was too cold or too hot, it was a little bit complicated to take a shower. The matress was a little bit unconfortable. location is not convenient, 20 mins walk from JR station. 10 mins walk from subway.
