Hotel Grand Noboribetsu is a 10-minute walk from Jigokudani Valley and Noboribetsu Bear Farm. Noboribetsu Date Historic Village is a 10-minute drive away. A shuttle is available from JR Sapporo Train Station for an extra cost.

Location is reachable, about 15 mins from jr Noboribetsu by Donan bus (
¥ 220 per person). Extremely recommended for their Onsen. Free Shuttle
bus available for Noboribetsu Bear Park and Jigokudani from any place.
Location. It offers very cheap transportation (550 yen) from Sapporo JR station and back. The hotel is very close to the Donan bus station. Different hotsprings.

Near bus stop,walking street and hell valley. Big room and good onsen.

The hotel was quite near the bear park and was in walking diastase of Jigokudani Valley.

Staff didn't turn the kettle cap tight enough, the kettle fell to the floor and hot water poured out to my daughter's feet. We didn't raise a complaint because we spoke to the front desk and they didn't understand.... :(
Luckily my daughter still mentioned to walk.
Lavatory separate from bathroom.
Only one staff can speak english (at the reception). The rest of them tried to speak to us in Japanese as if we will eventually be able to understand them.
Hotel is past it's sell by date. Old tattered carpet in both rooms, dining room. Bathroom really needs an update. Only thing grand about the place is the name.
The hotel rooms required total refurbishments as the furniture,walls, floors are very tired. I will not find any food court outside hotel. Inside the hotel there are some restaurants but no menus in english and staff doesnt speak it. I will not recommend this hotel to english speaking family couples.
