Located right in front of Lake Biwako, Ryokan Beniayu offers Japanese-style accommodations with a private open-air hot-spring bath and a massage chair. Beniayu Ryokan is a 30-minute drive from Nagahama Castle Historic Museum and a 25-minute drive from Shakudo-ji Temple. Hikone Castle is a 50-minute drive away.

The free shuttle is available from JR Takatsuki Train Station to the hotel at 14:30, 15:30, 16:30 and 17:30. It is available from the hotel to the station at 09:00, 10:00 and 11:00. The public hot-spring baths are available between 06:00 to 09:30 and from 14:00 to 00:00. Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. Guests without a meal plan who want to eat breakfast at the hotel must make a reservation at least 1 day in advance.
