Both Karuizawa Shinkansen (bullet train) Station and the Prince Ski Resort are a 10-minute drive from the property, while Naka-Karuizawa Train Station is within a 5-minute drive away. The Hoshino area with hot spring baths is a 5-minute drive away. Yu River and local temples can also be reached within a 5-minute walk.

Chris and Noriko, the hosts, are very friendly and welcoming. Chris has helped a lot in car rental before we arrived in Karuizawa. That has made our planning a lot easier. Upon check-in, he also brought us to a local ramen shop for lunch and gave us useful sightseeing tips for the next couple of days.
