Venice is a small city (for me anyway) but hard to navigate, so people
will get lost (I got delightfully lost several times), but I thought
Residenza La Loggia was super easy to find. With only the map provided
from their website I went straight from the St. Mark's vaporetto
stop (from the airport) to the B&B with no wrong turns.

The hotel is just off main walking alley Calle dei Fabbri some 4 minutes north from San Marco. The distance between houses on opposite side in this area are tiny co do not expect any view from your window. If you do not mind this then Residenza la Loggia might be just the right place for your stay. It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.

Sabina is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. She gave us great advice about things to see and places to eat, even to making a reservation for us. The location is very convenient to the airport vaporetto, and directions were simple and easy to follow. The neighborhood is quiet with little tourist traffic. The room was perfect, the bathroom pristine. Everything was first rate.

Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Great, great location.....really could not be better placed in the city for walking and the general sights of Venice. The top floor is very generous in size with a quaint, atelier style slanted roof and pop-up dormer windows looking out onto the Grand Canal. Location, location, location. You're literally minutes away from both the Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Yet, once you get inside the B&B, it feels more like home and the touristy/hectic buzz of the outside feels farther away. Service was excellent. If you can't be shown to your room yet (ie. you show up early) or you have a later flight to catch, they'll let you leave your bags with no hassle and will even serve you coffee in the common area.

Set in the heart of the San Marco neighborhood the room was a refreshing new, contemporary and comfortable change to the more traditional places we stayed during our trip. Large bathroom with walk in shower, new furnishings, and helpful staff were great. Breakfast delivered to the room each day and on time was a plus. -

Lovely hotel, family-style guesthouse. Welcoming and friendly host David, clean and comfortable room, good breakfasts. The location is very convenient. Near the Strada Nova, supermarket "Billa" vaporetto stop Ca de Oro and tragetto Campo Sofia. I recommend to read before the trip map with the approach to the hotel. Internet worked without problems

Excellent location in scenic and relaxed district of Cannaregio. 5 minute walk from Ca D' Oro vaparetto stop. Very friendly, helpful owner Davide who provided instructions on how to find the B&B in advance. Spacious and comfortable room (almost whole apartment) with traditional furnishings in keeping with age of building. Good quality continental breakfast.
