  This is a top notch hotel. Very nice rooms with nice big bathrooms. We received a room upgrade so I can't speak on a standard room. Our suite with adjoining rooms was, however, excellent++. Like their directions state, the hotel is just a short walk from the waterbus stop. Best facility we stayed in during our Europe trip. The hotel gardens and the surroundings are fascinating for an early morning stroll. Do eat in the hotel even though it's expensive as their executive chef menu is something to behold. I thought the staff was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful.From the reservation day, they requested if they could be of any help for the transfer & proactively proposed restaurants and activities in Venice. On my wife's birthday, they spontaneously brought a birthday cake to our breakfast table, which was a nice personal touch.The hote - I arrived a week to soon (oops) and with the good attitude of giacomo (we got an upgrade to the available room the grand canal suite with a small extra) but we had a fantastic time. -the staff is very attentive and they are well informed about your needs/ wishes - the location was excellent - that saturday was a djset/party in the hotel, we got a couple free drinks and there was a good athmosphere
