  Location was about 10 mins walk from St. Marks Square. Close yet far enough away from crowds. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.

We called up to the hotel and they asked whether we wanted to cancel our booking. They also said that despite flood the hotel had no problems and they were looking forward to their guests to arrive.   This hotel has recently been updated to include several "green" features as well as traveler conveniences. The hotel is computer wired to control use of electricity and a/C. If you open a window or door, your a/c shuts off. They can see which window you have open from their computer in the reception area.
