  The Pisani is an amazing hotel of old world charm and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful furniture and surroundings made for the perfect stay. It was a perfect place to sit and sip Prosecco while watching the tourists drift by on their Gondolas. Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train.   Easy to find, Staff was very helpful and aided us getting to the room, which was located in a separate building. Very helpful getting our bags to the room, which was no easy task as I was travelling for three weeks and required vacation and work clothes! Great location close to St. Mark's square and other attractions. All the staff were suberb; they spoke good english, they smiled and they could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent and exactly what we wanted - lots of choice and hot and cold options.

  The room (room 106 on first floor), was big and light with two big windows overlooking the canal, one of which opened out onto a small balcony.The bed was two beds pushed together and may be a bit firm for some people. The en-suite bathroom was a good size and had WC, bidet, large sink, jacuzzi bath (normal size) plus tiled - This hotel was absolutely stunning! We had the junior suite with a canal view and it was amazing! The room was beautifully decorated! This hotel room, experience and location was the highlight of our trip! I highly recommend it! Even though the junior suite is a bit more money than the regular rooms, if you are wanting to treat yourself while in Italy for a couple days, I would definitely spend the extra money on this room!!   Liked everything about this hotel. Calm location away from the tourist hassle and just 5­-7 min walk from piazza San Marco. May be a bit far from the train station but for us it was not a problem, walking through Venice is a pleasure of its own. Besides you can always take a vaporetto which stops nearby.   Allt! Personalen är jättetrevlig, hotellet är litet och ligger trevligt där några rum vetter åt en liten kanal och några mot en öppen plats vilket ger dagsljus in i rummen. Vårt rum, som vette åt båda hållen, var både rymligt och häftigt inrett. Inget rum är det andra likt - vilket vi gillar.
