  The hotel was very nice inside and the rooms were very clean. It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city center--the bus station and train station--with the bus stop being 100 yards away from the hotel. The hotel staff was very willing to help us with any questions we had about getting around the city.   very charming hotel in the heart of old trieste, close to the pedestrian zone full of interesting shops and good local restaurants. the place is run by a very friendly and very helpfull family with an eclectic taste for furniture, creating a unique timeless style, at the same time classic and very contemporary. i can only highly recommend this pla... vad folk säger » ce for people who know how to appreciate the simplicity of elegance and beauty. breakfast is for italian standarts very generous and rich in variety. - Everything. Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

  Very kind and helpful staff. Really clean rooms. Breakfast is simple but the food is fresh and appopriate. - The staff was really friendly and helpful and the location was perfect!
