  We adored this hotel. It's beautifully decorated with antiques etc. The location is perfect for the old part of Taormina and they run bus transfers to a couple of beaches for €8 and €10. If you arrive by bus and are unfamiliar with Taormina we recommend getting a cab to the hotel as it would be difficult to find initially. In fact as soon as we would arrive in reception they would leave whatever work they wer - Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff - a very pretty, small and intimate hotel. It had a very nice terrace area for relaxing in the heat of the afternoon and our room had its own private terrace too. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice and some local specialities which we liked very much. Quiet, but convenient for the centre of Taormina.

  We had a wonderful stay at Hotel El Jebel. We were traveling with our kids, ages 4 and 6, and the staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. My son declared it "the best hotel he had ever stayed in," and he was not far off. The location is perfect - 5-10 minutes walking from all major sights.Staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms are clean and comfortable. A la Carte Breakfast.   The location is most convenient - just a short walk to town. The staff was very friendly, most helpful with information. Exquisitely, tastefully renovated.   The front desk was great in planning our activities. The pool and the view of the coast and Mt Etna was beautiful. Walk to town is 2 minutes.
