  The view is impecable, the rooms decent and the staff very friendly - Having only the website to assist us in making our decision we were disappointed when we finally arrived at the hotel. What was surely a very impressive hotel at one stage we found to be rather dated and not as comfortable as we had been led to believe.

  The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. We got the ... vad folk säger » bus from the airport which solved the parking problem, and was easy to use. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

  We had a wonderful stay at Hotel El Jebel. We were traveling with our kids, ages 4 and 6, and the staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. My son declared it "the best hotel he had ever stayed in," and he was not far off. Very relaxing feel to the whole place, lovely pool and terrace area with again stunning views. The pool is a little on the small side but the hotel doesn't seem to hold many so it all feels quite intimate.   Amazing service - a welcome prosecco on arrival, luggage taken up to our room from the car, room is tidied twice a day. Very nice private beach with free deckchairs/umbrellas. Great location by Isola Bella and close to the cablecar up to Taormina town.
