  All staff in the hotel were amazingly helpful. Their knowledge of the local area was really useful. The hotel is in a great location for historical sites. Easy to find and with it's own parking, it is an ideal location to explore the city of Siracusa. The Rooftop pool is a great way to relax.   The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. Even in a room on the inland side, my balcony had a thrilling view of the sea. The staff are kind, efficient, and polite. It's an elegant hotel... vad folk säger » . It's easy to walk to anywhere in Ortigia from there. Or just to swim in the sea and sunbathe on the rocks. - We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

  As an American, breakfast is important to me, and the breakfast here isfantastic! The room was great, the staff was nice, and the hotel wasclose to everything.   What a great hotel! The sea view from our room was spectacular! Hotel is really in the heart of it all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge. If you must drive (we did!) there is cheap ... vad folk säger » parking within 10 mins walk. Get a small car! - Great hotel, very elegant, classy, updated and decorated with excellent taste. Fantastic location, spacious room and a view from the 3rd floor up. Breakfast is an experience on its own with wide variety and high quality, served on the terrace restaurant with a breathtaking view. Free parking just outside. Flawless.
