The family-run Porta di Mare is located in the pedestrian area of Sciacca's historical centre. This B&B features a garden and is named after the ancient gateway nearby. Free bike and motorcycle parking is available on site. Rooms offer free WiFi, air conditioning and a private bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. Each room has an LCD TV and a small fridge and some have panoramic sea views. Breakfast is served daily in a dedicated room or out in the garden. It consists of freshly bakes croissants, seasonal fruit, and bread with extra virgin olive oil. Typical local products are also available on request. Sciacca's thermal baths are about 300 metres from the property.

We stayed for 2 days at B&B Porta di Mare. The owner, Michele, provided us the best customer service we have ever had during our trip in Sicily! We stayed in the room at ground floor, which is very spacious, with a/c and with a wonderful bed. The location of the B&B is very quiet, but at the same time practically inside the city centre of Sciacca and close to it you can have an amazing view of the harbour. Everything was good and I can only recommend it. Just a hint if you are using Goo.
alla recensioner » Nevertheless owner did not speak any english and we understand zero italian we managed to communicate, it was quite exciting :) The room itself (we had Vasco Da Gamma room - how cute!) was great! I really recommend this location not only because of good quality hotel but also because of very very helpful owner. The location, although hard to find at first, was great. There was free parking nearby and this was a great base from which to visit nearby locations. Our room was spacious and clean and had a view of the port and the sea. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I arrived one hour before check-in time but after I phoned, Michelle showed up in 5 minutes. Got a "welcome"coffee and local food with it.Stayed two nights and when I left ( I am on the bicycle) Michelle gave me some food for on the road. we enjoyed very moment staying at this Hotel, very friendly , staff, 2 min walking distance to center, just something to be cleared if possible ask for a room with a window otherwise no negative comments at, We will visit again 100%. Sciacca is small fishing city, not so touristy. Very nice stopover to / from agrigento. Scala dei turcos as wella s very nice beach close. Good location of accomodation with nice rooms and delicious breakfast. One of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at. Great location in the heart of Sciacca. Very clean, quiet and comfortable room. Hard to find but worth the effort. Hard to find the B&B. staff do not speak English; WI-FI not working in room, only in corridor. nothing. The room smelled bad and there was no window in the room or bathroom.The bathroom wasn't nice and didn't look clean. The wifi didn't work in our devices because the password was incorrect but the owner didn't know nothing about it! The breakfast was awful. wi-fi in our room didnt work, bath room was dirty.
