  The staff is very nice; the room bright, clean, comfortable and modern. There is a big balcony and a big tv in the common room. Breakfast was good with fresh croissants every morning, yogurth, coffee and juice. The owner will give you a map and a lot of advices about where to go, what to see and where to eat (typical Roman dishes, at a very cheap ... vad folk säger » price!). The area around is full of shops and a supermarket (CONAD) is very close if you need some drinks or fruits or sandwiches to carry around the - I definitely adored staying here! It wasn't like staying in a typical hotel, it seemed like visiting old friends' apartment! Everything is supercosy! The rooms are clean and well-equipped, very nice bathroom. Furniture is new. They have a wonderful terrace where simple but superdelicious breakfast is served. I suppose it's the best place for people who visit the city for the first time. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us.   We got an upgrade to an excellent room. The staff were extremely nice and helped us with our Italian. Barbara was especially nice and made our reservation at the Borgese gallery.
