We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us.   The Owner is an interesting lady who keeps the place in a perfect way. Room are spacious with a large bathroom. The guest house is on the 3th floor of a old nice building. It is really nice and you will have the feeling to be in house more than a Hotel. It is safe and well located.   My husband and I stayed here three nights during our visit to Rome. Irina was extremely friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and clean, and we controlled our air conditioning (a huge plus after 12 hours of walking!). Overall, a wonderful place to rest after traipsing over Rome. - Wonderful place, felt like home, Irina is extremely friendly, I stayed alone for 4 nights, the location is excellent, a two minute walk from Saint Peter's Square and a three minute walk from San Pietro's Train Station. Breakfast is open all day so you can basically wake up whenever you want! Loved it.

  The location is excellent, right near Vatican city. We were in the Michelangelo suite and had a nice view of the city. There is a very good restaurant right around the corner, just start walking towards the museum entrance and its the first one on the right. Also excellent gelato down stairs.   I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. Room was perfect, with a good bed and bathroom, big TV and nice balcony. Everything was cleaned daily. Roberto, the owner and his daughter and son are very friendly and helpful.   We wanted a place close enough to the Vatican City, metro and bus stop so we can eat breakfast in the morning and not come back until we were done enjoying Rome for the day.
