The hotel has a good location ，is very quiet，clean，24 hours have dessert, bread, coffee, tea, water, cereal, yogurt and so on，all for free〜The boss is very enthusiastic to tell you where to go to play and route〜 a so nice gentle man~

It was nice meeting with Roberto.Room,Location & the breakfast was perfect. En suit toilet and the view from the room was enjoyed by my wife. Right on the shopping street. While the Hop ON/OFF bus stop is in next door but you can reach to the popular Rome attractions by walking also. This will be our only choice in Rome for our next visit next year.

The breakfast was basic with ready made bread,cheap cereals.Some healthy bread,cereal and fruit could be included.
Location was perfect for visit to rome's many attractions all within walking distance .room was comfortable and clean . Assistance and information given to us regarding places to visit etc was excellent and greatly enhanced our short stay.overall a big thumbs up for exceptionally good value.
I particularly liked the freedom to choose the food available in the kitchen to make my breakfast when I wanted it. Roberto is a helpful and welcoming host and his staff keeps the facilities meticulously clean. The location is indeed excellent: central and convenient. I would particularly recommend this b&b to families. They will feel safe and at home.
This b&b is within a building which has a number of small 'hotels' and is "guarded" by a woman at the entrance who has an extremely rude and offensive manner. If you are unfortunate enough to come across her when you first arrive, just ignore her. She has apparently never learnt how to behave towards fellow human beings and Roberto is NOT to be held responsible for her nastiness.
The Location of the Hotel is very good 5 minutes to Colosseum, 10 minutes to the subway. Very friendly staff. Kitchen is open for 24 hours which is very good for young people. And also there is terrace inside of the hotel.
We loved the location, but especially the friendly and helpful host Roberto made the experience fantastic. We wanted a room with a view and we got it, he was there 24-7 to help and answer questions. He made sure we felt like his special guest and if I go back to Rome I will call Roberto right away.

Our host - Roberto was fantastic and knowledgeable. His English was delightful and effective. The old building with remodelled apartments was perfect. Easy walking to all the main Roman sites - Trevi, Colosseum, Forum etc. quick bus to Vatican, Excellent!

We actually stayed in a new hotel owned by the same owner of Matisse, on Cavour. It was 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum and an excellent location. The owner could not have been more accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone
Right from the moment of the initial, the team at Matisse couldnt have been more helpful and professional. Roberto, the owner, was charming. The relaxed atmosphere was welcome after a long day travelling. His restaurant recommendation was perfect. Although they were fully booked on our last pass thru Rome, the staff once again went above and beyond by helping us find alternate accommations in their neighbourhood. We will definetly stay here again and highly recommend BB Matisse! Many thanks Roberto and team!

The location was excellent to everything Rome. The room was clean, tidy and well appointed; staff were friendly and very accommodating. Will hopefully return and will definitely recommend to friends.
Roberto the owner is a nice person. He explained everything and he made suggestions for the city.
I choose this hotel to be closer to the termini station but in my next trip to rome i will prefer an hotel around piazza novona or pantheon.
The staff were excellent in welcoming me to the B & B and recommending restaurants and attractions in the area.

Matisee B&B was in a very conventient location to all the major sights in Rome. Roberto our host was great helping us bring up our bags and letting us leave our bags in the B&B as we arrived early in the day. Roberto also arranged our transfers back to the airport for us. I would recommend this B&B for anyone who was looking for low cost accommodation in Rome.
The bathroom wasn't attached to our room. It became very stuffy after a warm shower & also contained a bit of mould due to poor ventilation.
Location is great, you are close to almost all the attractions in Rome. Also very clean , safe place , centrally located, very friendly staff and breakfast 24/7.

The room was large and very clean. The common sitting area was very eclectic and interesting. The kitchen was self serve and open 24/7. This came in handy a couple times. They had the typical B&B breads, cereal, yogurt available. They also had internet in the room which we realized during our trip was a huge plus.
Our room #5 was separated from it's shower and toilet. These were both on opposite sides of the common area. If an add says private bath it doesn't necessarily mean in the room. It was our bathroom, but we had to go down the hall to use it.

Very clean, safe place, centrally located. Breakfast nothing special but enough (croissants, juice, coffee, tea, cheese, ham, toasts).
The staff does not know size of tax. Street was noisy all night and staff was noisy at evening.
The location is near the train station and the shopping areas, with walking distance to the Colosseum and Forum. The owner is super kind, I spent over 20 days travel around Europe with heavy baggage, only this guy came out and help my wife to bring the luggage upstairs. I like to thanks him also that thoughtful enough to inform me how to get to the hotel in advance. The room are clean and comfortable, all you can eat breakfast. He did the samething to offer his help to bring down all our luggages to the taxi. Thank you again Roberto!

Facilities had the feel of a university residence. More like crashing in a buddy's pad than a B&B. This has its place, and served it purpose, but its misleading to promote it as a B&B.
