The Villaggio Torre Macauda is a charming resort on the south-west coast of Sicily set on a 360 m² area of lush Mediterranean vegetation facing the sea.

The resort offers a multitude of activities, entertainment events and various children facilities, such as a playground and kid’s clubs for different age groups. You can enjoy the hotel’s fully equipped beaches, bars, pool facilities, indoor/outdoor discos and various shops, which are open from May until September.

The friendly staff will help you organise excursions and book tours. There is even a hotel photographer who will make your stay unforgettable with some photos of your holiday.

Choose from the hotel’s vast selection of sport amenities. There are over 10 tennis courts, 5 bowling greens, five-a-side football and at least 3 different types of swimming pools. If you prefer a relaxing day on the beach or would like to catch the evening’s main event at the amphitheatre, take the hotel’s free shuttle service that runs from June until September. The hotel even provides a shuttle service to Sciacca at an additional cost.

Vad folk säger

We were very impressed how nice our apartment was for the money. It had a nice balcony, lovely sea view, nice and quiet. The oven fan made a horrendous noise. The hot water could be dangerous as it boils. Suggest people take mosquito spray. I think it could be noisy in the summer months. No English people. You stated on your information that our room included half board, which it didn't, bit embarrassing asking about that.

Food & Drink

From June until September, the resort offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with rich buffets that feature a variety of dishes. During this same time period, there is also a pizzeria available on request and at an additional cost.

From October until May, a buffet breakfast is provided and main meals are offered with an à la carte menu. House wine and mineral water are included. Themed dinners are organised once a week.

Resort services can be paid with special prepaid electronic payment cards, available on request with a deposit.

All sports, entertainment and hotel facilities and activities are available from 25 May until 28 September.

The children’s mini club comprises 3 clubs for different age groups:
- The Baby Club, from ages 4 until 7, offers daily entertainment and games on the beach, children’s films, baby dancing, mini disco and shows in the amphitheatre.
- The Mini Club, from ages 8 until 12, features day and evening entertainment focused on expressive arts workshops. In addition to a small library the mini club offers the same facilities listed above for the baby club.
- The Junior Club, from ages 13 until 17, provides day and evening entertainment, sports and theatre activities, tournaments, treasure hunts and themed parties.

Important information to guests

An additional fee is required for guests staying in apartments (EUR 150) or cottages and should be paid on arrival. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to stay in the cottages.

From 25 May until 28 September the hotel requires you to purchase a weekly or weekend club card for guest over the age of 3. The club card includes beach service, mini club and group sport activities and rates differ for children and adults.

For guests staying in apartments please be aware of the following additional costs to be paid on arrival:
- EUR 25 per week per person (for guests over the age of 3) for electricity, gas and bed linen.
- EUR 30 per week for one room apartment. EUR 40 per week for 2 room apartment. Please note: guests are responsible for cleaning the kitchen.
- Air conditioning is available on request at an additional cost (EUR 56 per week in one room apartment, EUR 80 per week in 2 room apartment).
- Bath towels are available on request and cost EUR 5 per person.
