  The hotel building itself is very unique, just like a converted barn. Thou, the hotel facilities is very simple and limited. But the pool is good enough. Must have a car to get to somewhere to eat and sightseeing. - The staff was nice, the room well designed, spacious and clean.   The location is perfect. The staff, especially main guy (goatee guy), were v. helpful and friendly. They arranged our gondola ride and answered our questions fully. The bathroom was clean and seemed new except for the broken shower door (it still worked, but was coming apart). Our towels were changed daily and our maid even folded our pjs on our p... vad folk säger » illows! :) It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. - the hotel was perfect great price, we split a four bedroom room with some students from my school and it was exactly what we wanted right in the center of venice easy to get to and clean.

  The hosts were very kind and helpful. The owner picked us up and took us back to the hotel from the station and this was really appreciated. Breakfast was good and hotel was very clean. The hotel is really close to the city centre and to station.   Very nice hotel in the center of the city. We had a spacious room, clean and cozy. Our Immaculate clean bathroom was very spacious. In our hotel was attentive staff and unlimited possibility to use internet in the room. We also had a nice TV and air conditioning. - I had a very pleasant stay here. The personnel was friendly and remembered my room number, one of those little things that make you feel at home.

  We were positively surprised how the staff is friendly and make all guests feel like in their own home. We were specially amused by the restaurant team: the waiter is always smiling and playing around with guests (of course, always keeping respect) and the kitchen chef, Federico, even not speaking english, he does his best to communicate with gues... vad folk säger » ts and is always gifting awesome foods. Certainly, as we had the chance to tell them, Il Lato Azurro was the best place we stayed in our trip (which i - - The staff was really nice - The Location was charming! I loved the quitness of the island. - The breakfast is quite sober but good enough for us! - Keep in mind that you will have to travel with a vaperetto (waterbus) from venice to a seperate island! Trip will take 20 minutes and than you will have to walk for 15 minutes (or make an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle service! The walk is nice so we didn't use this service). - Don't expect luxury, just a place to sleep!
