  Excellent Italian countryside property very close to montepulciano. Very welcoming staff. Great pool. The room was spacious with many country home features. The bathroom was huge. Very clean.   Loved this hotel. Radda in Chianti is now one of our favorite locations in Italy and this hotel was luxurious. Staff great. Breakfasts great.   Alessandro, the manager, was a veritable font of information on history, languages, sports, things to do and see, and directions on how to get everywhere in the Tuscan countryside. On top of all of that, he was there to help bail us out when we had car trouble.   We arrived there very late (11pm), and forgot to call the place and notify them. We were very worried about unable to check in that night.   My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th anniversary at Salvadonica (along with our children age 7 and 10). We could not have chosen a more perfect place!   This is my third stay. It was wonderful, romantic and very scenic. I loved our little apartment in the farmhouse Casolese and didn't mind the 10 minute walk to the villa. The staff were efficient but a little unforgiving when we were late to check in. Sometimes in cannot be helped if the traffic is bad. I have been in lov - We stayed at the Villa to celebrate my wife's birthday. Prior to the visit I called the Villa and explained our celebration and requested the best room available for the rate paid. To their great credit we found ourselves upgraded to a beautiful suite with a complimentary bottle of chianti classico and a happy birthday note. However it was late November and there was only one other couple staying. Beautiful and authentic Tuscan Villa and if you are a fan of the 1993 film "Much Ado About Nothing

There is an outdoor pool, a small gym, ping-pong and big tennis facilities, although we weren't able to use those as the weather hasn't been that great during our stay.
