  This place is an absolute gem: close to Montalcino, Pienza, etc., yet removed from the tourist craziness down a private road. The scenery is stunning, and the facilities are superb. The apartment is spacious, well appointed with lovely furniture and detailing, and so, so clean. The food in the downstairs restaurant is simple yet fantastic (Aldy is... vad folk säger » a chef), and the wine is exceptional. Madalena and Aldy are wonderful hosts, and are so welcoming. We sat together and talked, Madalena showed me aro - It was the best stay in our trip to Italy!!! Just imagine: the beautifull house in the wineyards totally at your disposal, a gourmet dinner with simlpe local products made specially and personally for you, a great hi-end wine Brunello de Montalchino, and the warmest people who are making all of this for you.   This B&B is simply the best Hotel I ever stayed. You feel very welcome right from the start and the whole Hotel has a lovely family atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacy with a nice Interieur and very clean. The bed is also very comfortable. The breakfast is very good. There is everything - This is family held hotel... And I mean it for the best way possible.   The staff, especially Costanza, were top notch- providing excellent directions and were wonderfully flexible when we had to change our reservation.
