  Totally fantastic. The perfect place from which to explore the beautiful and friendly city of Siena. Giovanni was incredibly helpful, both with information before our stay and in friendliness and helpfulness during our stay. We stayed with our 8-year-old son on our 1st visit to Siena. We breakfasted in the apartment kitchen off lovely Italian pati... vad folk säger » sseries from the nearby food shop. Having a fridge for cold drinks and a cooker for tea (ah - the English - we'd brought our own tea!) was brilliant. - To be in the old town means a 30- 40 minute walk; from the train station; or catch a local bus. This nice self catering apartment was in a good central location 200 metres south of Piazza Del Campo & in quiet area; with free WiFi. The manager Giovanni in reception was very helpful with maps and where to buy food.

  The swimming pool was great. It was clean and the staff very helpful. Beautiful gardens, quite and comfortable. Very close to Firenze without the mess of the city. - Good location for major cities in Tuscany Quiet and calm location Good swimmingpool Spacious apartment Wifi for those who cannot live without it!

  The couple that runs the place were very helpful and nice, although there were language difficulties. The room is very nice and well decorated we had a nice kitchen with everything you need and cooked dinner the second night.   The pictures online don't do it justice. The entire place is meticulously restored with an eclectic twist (a beautiful spiral staircase in one of the many libraries and books galore). The hosts make you feel like one of the family and invite you to their activities on the farm (they were crushing grapes with their feet the day we were leaving so w... vad folk säger » e missed it). They have two wonderful pianos the guests can use. - The atmosphere, the castle itself, the hosts, the laid back style, the location - it's the perfect place for relaxing. The way the castle is restored to former glory, without much visual modernizing, is fascinating. You get a strong feeling of time-travel once inside the castle walls!
