  Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. I drive and SUV, parked it on the ramp and left the keys. The hotel staff moved around the vehicle and parked it. Although the hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to the Autostrada and just a short drive to Ortigia Indoor pool is nice.   From the harbor we were picked up by the hotel. On arrival we got a drink, and our luggage was directly sent to our room. We got an upgrade to a room with sea view. The hotel has a great outdoor pool, and is well maintained. The hotel has two on site restaurant which are good. The hotel has a nice SPA. The desk personnel are very helpfull with giving good advice on where to eat (pippito) and what to visit in the surroundings (Aci Trezza). Good connection to Catania if you are driving a car. Take care to take a swimming cap with you for the georgeous pool. - Large and luxury apartment of 80 sqm fully equipped with dishwasher, large fridge and freezer. Air conditioning very good, staff responsible for very sweet and friendly. The hotel´s motto very good and surprisingly occasionally. A bit expensive but great value for money. Plenty of parking and a view of part of the volcano top Etna and not far from the city Catania. Approximately 500 m to the beach but only rocks and no sand beach.
