  The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. We got the ... vad folk säger » bus from the airport which solved the parking problem, and was easy to use. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

  We were upgraded to a suite for the room price, the chef cooked to order for us on two occasions, the meals were delightful. The staff were very friendly and helpful - The Spa like attitude of the hoteland the way it was set up.The resturant was excellant.

  The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. It's easy to walk to anywhere in Ortigia from there. Or just to swim in the sea and sunbathe on the rocks. - We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

  We had a fabulous 1 night stay at the Hilton on our way to Taormina to enjoy the rest of our honeymoon! It was exceptionally clean,the staff were fabulous and very helpful when asking directions to where we were heading the morning after and the breakfast was delicious!   What a great hotel! The sea view from our room was spectacular! Hotel is really in the heart of it all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge. Fantastic location, spacious room and a view from the 3rd floor up. Breakfast is an experience on its own with wide variety and high quality, served on the terrace restaurant with a breathtaking view. Free parking just outside. Flawless.
